DVS

After being introduced to the sound of Drum & bass over 3 years ago, things have moved pretty quickly for DVS (aka Andrew Tuaine).

After at first being content with just listening to the brightest and best DJ's/ producers round DVS decided to step up to the plate and invest in his own turntables and get behind the decks. After only a year this man has become one to reakon with laying down some of the freshest and tightest sets round.

Being brought up an involved in music someway or another all his life he took to the decks like a duck takes to water. At first his own musical influences of playing the sax and piano took hold and the enchanting sound of liquid was his first calling with the sounds of Calibre, St.Cal and Mystical being favourites.

After developing a fine taste of these sounds DVS was introduced to the darker side of D&B (firstly the Upbeats) where his passion for the decks really grew and took ahold... these heavy bass lines and smashing sounds where like a lantern in the dark an calling for DVS to take hold as the sound of Tech and Neurofunk become his true calling.

Not content with just simply becoming a turntablist, DVS has set his sights on producing his own beats. An with the quickness and ease that this man has moved onto the decks the excitement as he starts to focus on production is high.
